Terms and conditions of hire

Charter Chauffeur services (the Company) will hire a vehicle and driver for a period of hire only under the following terms and conditions.

• The Customer must provide all necessary information either by the booking form and email or by telephone in order that an accurate quotation can be given.
• A 50% deposit must be paid in advance for all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing. This may be by cash/cheque/credit or debit card.
• The balance must be paid by credit or debit card at least ten days prior to the booking or in cash on the day.
• By taking a deposit, we refuse all other bookings for that car on that day or part thereof and we therefore regret that all deposits are non refundable.
• Bookings that are cancelled less than 1 week before the commencement of the booking or in the event of a 'no show' by the customer, will be charged in full.
• Variations to the booking from the original instructions may incur charges for additional time or mileage. Our chauffeurs will travel the most appropriate route for the day unless instructed otherwise whereby extra charges may be incurred.
• There are no hidden charges and we endeavour to supply a quotation that matches your exact requirements in as simple aa format as possible. All quotations can be supplied in writing at your request.
• We may amend our charges at any time apart from bookings already made and quotations given.
• The Company will make every effort to ensure that our vehicles and drivers are on time according to your instructions. Should circumstances prevail that are beyond are control , we will not be held responsible or accept liability for delays and consequential losses beyond its control.
• The Company's vehicles are fully insured and licenced. However, all client's property is carried at thier own risk and as such, we will not be liable to claims for loss or damage.
• The Company and its chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or a passenger whose behaviour may pose a threat to the vehicle or any of its occupants.
• Smoking is not allowed in any vehicle.
• The Company reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions at any time.
